Description
This anti-skate blade is manufactured from 316L stainless steel and has a matte finish. They’re designed to be inserted into mortar joints between coping, or bricks, and sit within the wall itself. The anti-skate blade is designed as a retrofit solution so it can be installed in any pre-existing wall. They make an ideal skate deterrent as they block off straight lines skaters may look to grind on and keep the furniture, or walls in their original condition.
Material Information
This anti-skate blade is made from high-quality 316L stainless steel to ensure lifelong performance in the toughest of conditions. Due to its composition, 316L stainless steel has far superior weathering resistance when compared to other stainless steel, particularly when subjected to harsh rain, snow, or sleet.
Design
The blade is designed to slightly protrude from the top and side of brickwork and coping, making its presence seamless, blending into the surrounding brickwork while making it clear that the surface is not for skating on. The protrusion is subtle enough that anyone passing by won't get caught on the blade and its rounded edges mean that anyone that comes into contact with it won't come to any harm. The added benefit of the blade being installed in the wall is that it has unmatched strength and is highly resistant to vandalism. The curve of the anti-skate blade matches that of a 12" angle grinder disc so it will sit flush into the cavity created.
Application
These blades can be installed in:
Installation
