They’re designed to sit flush on 50mm diameter handrails and are secured with a security-fixing pin. They make an ideal skate deterrent as they block off straight lines skaters may look to grind on and keep the handrail in its original condition. They also provide minimal interference to handrail users due to their modest size.

These studs can be installed on:
- Handrails measuring 50mm in diameter
Installation
These studs are installed by:
- Drilling two parallel holes slightly larger than 6mm in diameter; one in the top of that railing and one in the underside
- Clearing the holes of debris
- Putting a fixing pin through the stud and bar
- Tightening the locking mechanism at the bottom
Please Note: We recommend that the fixing pin be 6mm in diameter with an 8mm head to fit within the design.
Installation equipment required: Drill, drill bit, security fixing (available as an option).
